Founders Park, known as the "Gem of Islamorada", is the ideal location for sports, aquatics, outdoor recreation, and family friendly events & activities for residents and visitors! Founders Park is located at Mile Marker 87 bayside. Notice: the golf driving range remains closed for post-Hurricane Irma repairs. THE ATHLETIC FIELD REOPENED JULY 30, 2018 FOR PUBLIC USE.
Plantation Yacht Harbor Marina with world class amenities and services is located in Founders Park at Mile Marker 87 bayside. The 83-slip Village-owned marina is right off the Intercoastal Waterway. Fuel and pump-out services available.
Through generous funding from the Florida Communities Trust and other agencies, Islamorada is home to many more parks and greenspaces. Enjoy the beaches, kayak launches, quaint walking trails, sitting areas and playgrounds. Notice: Due to extensive damage from Hurricane Irma on September 10, 2017, Anne's Beach is closed until further notice.

Islamorada has enacted policies to reduce global warming pollution levels and provide economic and quality of life benefits.
There are approximately 24 miles of canals within Islamorada. The Village is moving forward with a series of canal restoration demonstration projects to improve impaired water quality in the canals.
The Village is committed to proactively identifying ways to increase its resiliency through adaptation to a changing environment. The Islamorada Matters Plan furthers the Village’s commitment to sustainability and sea level rise preparedness.
