BP claims offices now operational in the Keys. The claims offices in Monroe County open for business:
▪ Key West Claims Office - Auditors in this office will assist claimants from the Lower Keys communities Address: 3706 North Roosevelt Blvd. Suite H, Key West (northwest corner of strip center located between McDonald's and Denny's)
Marathon Claims Office - Auditors in this office will assist claimants from Upper and Middle Keys communities, Address: 7885 Overseas Highway, Marathon (on the corner of Overseas and 79th Street; formerly the Waterfront Resort Realty office, across from the airport)
▪ Key Largo Claims Office – Auditors in this office will assist claimants from the Upper Keys communities. Located at the Fountain Plaza, 100360 Overseas Highway, Suites 1&2, Key Largo, FL  33037

▪ Claims offices will be open 7 days a week, from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and have ample parking available.  The adjusters are reaching out to individuals and businesses in the Keys that have initiated the claims process and are working with them to review documentation to process claims expeditiously. To initiate the claims process, we're asking individuals and businesses with legitimate damage or business interruption claims to either:  Call the toll-free Claims number at 1-800-440-0858, or to complete an online claims form at: English versionSpanish version;

▪ U. S. Small Business Administration Business Recovery Center is open in Monroe County to help small businesses and most private non-profit organizations affected by the Deepwater BP Oil Spill. Location and hours of operation are:

No Islamorada, Village of Islands Building Inspections on September 9-10, 2010: Due to Inspector training, no building inspections will be performed on Thursday, September 9 or Friday, September 10, 2010.  Any inspections called in after 7:30am on Wednesday, September 8 will be scheduled for Monday, September 13, 2010.
