FREE FEDERAL INCOME TAX preparation and e‑filing by AARP Tax‑Aide volunteers will be available from February 1st to April 15thfor middle- and low-income taxpayers at the following locations:
Islamorada Library
Mondays 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. starting February 4th
Marathon Senior Center
Tuesdays 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. starting February 5th
Big Pine Senior Center
Thursdays 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. starting February 7th
You do not have to be a member of AARP or a retiree. No appointments are taken; taxpayers are helped on a first-come, first-served basis.
Please bring: a copy of your 2017 tax return; your current year’s tax information; social security cards for yourself and any dependents; photo ID; details of your health insurance coverage; and any other pertinent information.
There are no income limitations. There are, however, certain complicated returns that are out of scope (for example, those that have rental income from depreciable property).
