ISLAMORADA PARKING MASTER PLAN
Complete the Survey to Provide Your Input
Islamorada has been conducting a Parking Master Plan that analyzes parking supply, demand, operations and management practices during both peak and non-peak times. The purpose of the Parking Master Plan is to make physical and policy recommendations based on an overall analysis of specific conditions in Islamorada, public feedback, and industry-best practices for the efficient use of the Village’s parking resources.
The Study Team held a Public “Open House” to gather public input from all interested member of the community on December 6 and 7, 2017. The open house was a showcase for poster exhibits and graphics of the various existing conditions and some initial design ideas for the Parking Master Plan.
Additionally, the Study Team has created a project website (islamoradaparking.com) to gather input from those that could not attend the public open house as well as those that would like to give additional input. The website features information on the project and some past presentations. Most importantly, the website contains a survey and questionnaire that will influence the design and planning of the project. Your input is critical to the development of the Parking Master Plan, so please fill out the questionnaire and help guide the Study Team!
Final recommendations from the Study Team are on track to be completed in February 2018 with a final Parking Master Plan to be completed in March 2018.
