The Finance Division is the central fiscal control and accounting agency of the Village. It consists of five full-time and 1 part-time employees. The Finance Director serves as the Chief Fiscal Officer of the Village. The division manages the daily finance/accounting activities including accounts payable, purchasing, payroll, audits, preparation of comprehensive financial reports, investments, financing & debt management, bank relations, and fixed asset control. In addition, the office reviews the worker’s compensation program and the employee benefits program for financial accountability, inclusive of the health, life, dental and vision programs offered by the Village. The division is responsible for assembling the budget for the Village, beginning with a strategic planning process, which results in a prioritized budget.
