Lieutenant Charlene Sprinkle is a native of the Florida Keys and is a graduate of Marathon High School. She began her career with the Sheriff’s Office in 1994. Lieutenant Sprinkle has held the following positions with the Sheriff’s Office, Communication Officer, Road Patrol Deputy, Crime Scene Detective, General Crimes Detective, Patrol Sergeant, and Communications Lieutenant. She is a graduate of the Southern Police Institute Command Officer Development School, a First Aid Instructor, and an Emergency Medical Dispatcher, and holds a Department of Health 911 Public Safety Telecommunicator license and other specialized training certifications. She has been awarded the Sheriff’s medal, Officer of the Quarter, in addition to numerous letters of commendation and appreciation for her work product. Lieutenant Sprinkle is married to Mark Belile also a native of the Florida Keys and is retired from the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office with 32 years of service.
